The &amp;ldquo;diagnostic loi Carrez&amp;rdquo;&#xD;
The diagnostic of floor space following the Carrez law can accurately  determine the size of your home (excluding the balcony, terrace,  cellar, garage, etc...) with minimum head room of 1.80 m. This Carrez  diagnostic is only obligatory for any sale of an apartment or house  condominiums. The sale of independent houses is not necessarily  accompanied by the Carrez diagnostic.&#xD;

The diagnostic of asbestos&#xD;
Any buildings built before 1 July 1997 shall be subject to a  diagnostic for asbestos. The presence of asbestos must be controlled  both in all parts of a property, whether shared or private.  Asbestos  can be found in more area and products than you think, it isn&amp;rsquo;t just  limited to roofs. It can be found in old lino floors, pipe lagging,  partition walls, etc.&#xD;

The diagnostic for lead&#xD;
The lead diagnostic is for all buildings built before 1 January 1949.  Contrary to popular belief, this does not concern piping, but only the  eventual coats of lead paint on the walls and doors, etc. The expert  will control the lead count using a sort of Geiger counter. If the  regulatory threshold is crossed, the validity of the diagnostic is only  one year. Otherwise, the lead diagnostic is valid for the continuum.&#xD;
Diagnostic for termites&#xD;
Any one, whose property is located in a residential area where a  Prefectural declaration about termites has been published, must provide a  diagnostic for termites.&#xD;
Beware the diagnostic that specifies the presence or absence of termites is valid for six months.&#xD;

This certificate is valid for three years. Cookers  running on ColorGaz connected by a rubber hose are not concerned, only  once you have a &amp;ldquo;fixed&amp;rdquo; copper/inox pipe installation for such. It is  not only full gas burners that need the control!&#xD;

The diagnostic of the electrical installation&#xD;
As for gas diagnostic, the electrical diagnostic concerns all  properties where the electrical installation is over 15 years old. A  professional must submit a certificate of compliance for the electrical  installation.
